FSR / PCC History
Fred S. Riceputo launched FSR/PCC in New York in 1973—a lone, hardworking driver with a single truck, servicing a single USPS highway carrier route (HCR) twice daily between Manhattan and Long Island. By 1977, Fred had won similar contracts in New Jersey; he expanded to Florida in 1983 after winning a contract to haul mail between Palm Beach and West Palm Beach—a route the company still operates today.
Throughout the 1980s, FSR/PCC grew exponentially as the company won new routes in New Jersey and Florida, and Fred retired from driving to focus on guiding FSR’s growth and managing its operations.
